Emotional Regulation & Toxic Behavior in Competitive Gaming

How does trait emotional regulation shape in-game behavior when things go wrong?

Phase 1

Phase 1 is a cross-sectional survey using the DERS-SF and custom game-state measures, with later phases moving into experience sampling and behavioral observation.

Grounded in time perspective psychology and self-regulation theory, the framework is currently being mapped against existing academic literature for publication as a practice/theoretical hybrid paper.
